Privacy Notice

Theā Ma is a slow fashion brand built on honesty. In how our clothes are made, and in how we handle the information you share with us. This notice explains what we collect, why we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

The website theama.studio is operated by Mgr. Radoslava Bušová, trading as Theā Ma, Registration No. 17990955, established in the Czech Republic.

2. Information we collect and why

Newsletter sign-up

When you subscribe, we collect your name and email address. We use these to confirm your subscription and send occasional news about Theā Ma, including collection launches and brand updates. We rely on your consent, and we use a confirmation step (double opt-in) before adding you to the list.

Contact form

When you contact us, we collect your name, email address and any information you choose to include in your message. We use it to reply to you and follow up where needed.

Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Where your message concerns a possible purchase, collaboration or other agreement, processing may also be necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Website operation

Our website and hosting providers may automatically process limited technical information, such as an IP address, browser or device details, timestamps and security logs. This is used only to deliver the site, keep forms working, prevent misuse and maintain security. We rely on our legitimate interest in operating a safe and reliable website.

3. Cookies

The website may use essential cookies and similar technologies that help pages load correctly, keep forms secure and remember privacy choices. Where these are strictly necessary, consent is not required.

At present, we do not use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will update this notice and ask for your consent before optional cookies are placed.

4. How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We use trusted service providers to help us build and host the website, deliver contact form messages and manage newsletter subscriptions. They receive only the information needed to provide those services and must handle it securely and lawfully.

We may also share information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect our rights.

Some service providers may process information outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where required, we use recognised safeguards such as an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism. 5. How long we keep information

• Newsletter details are kept while you remain subscribed. After you unsubscribe, we may keep a minimal suppression record so that we can respect your choice and avoid contacting you again.
• Contact form messages are normally kept for up to 12 months after our last communication, unless we need them for longer to meet a legal obligation or deal with a claim.
• Technical logs and essential cookie information are kept only for the period reasonably needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the website.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it where appropriate.

6. Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from newsletter emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of emails sent before you unsubscribed.

Under the GDPR, you may have the right to:

• Ask for access to the personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct, delete or restrict the use of your information
• Receive certain information in a portable format
• Object where we rely on legitimate interests
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

7. Children

Theā Ma is a fashion brand and the website is not intended for children. We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us so that we can review and delete it where appropriate.

8. Security and third-party links

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information. No online service can be completely secure, but we aim to collect only what we need and to limit access to it.

The website may link to websites operated by other organisations, including our artisan partners Saheli Women (saheliwomen.com) and Heena Agrima (heenaagrima.com). Their privacy practices are their own, so we encourage you to read their privacy information when you visit them.

9. Questions or complaints

Please contact us first at radka@theama.studio if you have a concern. We will do our best to resolve it.

10. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as the website develops or legal requirements change. The latest version will always be posted here with the updated date shown at the top.

This notice covers theama.studio as a pre-launch brand presence website. It will be updated when e-commerce functionality is added.
